The food, as you'd expect from a successful bakery, is also excellent-check out the breakfast pies, available only on weekends. The coffee is made via a rotating selection of beans from high-end roasters, and comes in the standard formats as well as a cortado. You can find baked goods from the bakery served in other fine establishments across Boston, but it's still worth a trip to the Greek-inspired casual eatery and craft coffee bar. ![]() The main location is in Back Bay with newer ones in North End and Boston Common. Don't ignore the food menu, which includes impressive pastries, bagels, sandwiches and bagel-sandwiches. The high-grade drinks at this growing little craft coffee chain include homemade flavors for lattes like vanilla ginger, honey cinnamon and hazelnuts. Try the house special (if you're of-age), with brandy, Kahlua and Tiramisu liqueur. It also has a full bar, which means you can get not only authentic cappuccinos, but Italian-style alcoholic coffee drinks as well. Caffé Vittoria first opened in 1929, and is a classic coffee spot up through today. Italian-style espressos didn't just inspire the modern wave of artisanal coffee shops-they are still some of the best. ![]() The atrium in the back gets sunlight even on cold winter days-where better to enjoy one of the best cups in the area? The second location, which just opened in East Cambridge, also has drip coffee designed for commuters who can't wait the extra five minutes. The premium pour-overs and espresso drinks from locally-roasted beans, plus a small but tasty food menu have made this indie coffee shop a local favorite.
